Jonathan Markt
Principal
Jonathan started working at Markt & Company as a part-time employee while completing his schooling at the University of Oregon. After working as a carpenter in Montana, he returned to us as a full-time employee in 2003 and became an owner in 2007. He has a wide range of carpentry skills, as well as experience in customer service and project management. In 2012, Jonathan qualified as a Certified Remodeler through the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.

Wendy Markt
Vice President of Operations
Wendy joined our team in December
2007 as co-owner. She previously was a financial advisor and manager with Ameriprise Financial, working with clients on
saving towards their retirement and other goals. Her customer service,
administrative experience, computer skills and attention to detail have
been indispensable in her role as office manager, bookkeeper and marketing manager for
Markt & Company.

Bill Markt
Certified Remodeler
Bill graduated from the University
of Utah in 1971 with a degree in Finance. He has been committed to
building and remodeling for over thirty years. As the business has
grown and changed, Bill has filled every job description at some point
in time. He currently does sales and estimating, problem-solving, and is an excellent carpenter and builder who still gets
back into the trenches with us. |

Marlin Myers
Production
Manager
Marlin graduated from Portland State
University in 1991 with a degree in Physical Education. In 1996
he received his Master's degree in Counseling at Western Evangelical
College. Marlin worked at Markt & Company from 1986-2004,
returning in 2008 after a few years in the lumber industry. He is
highly skilled in both rough and finish carpentry. He is an
excellent manager and problem solver with strong customer service
ethics. He is a certified lead carpenter through the National
Association of the Remodeling Industry. |
